Breitling is adding some serious star power to its Singapore Grand Prix week.

Fernando Alonso will make an appearance at the Breitling x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Pop-Up at Raffles City on 7 October from 5pm to 7pm, followed by Stray Kids leader Bang Chan (featured image) on 10 October at 11am.

Alonso will be appearing as part of Breitling’s partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, while Bang Chan will continue the brand’s connection with the world of music and entertainment.

It is an interesting combination, and a very different pair of reasons to visit the same pop-up.

Alonso needs little introduction to Formula One fans. A two-time World Champion and one of the sport’s most recognisable drivers, he brings the Aston Martin Aramco partnership directly to the people who have been following the team throughout the season.

Bang Chan brings an entirely different audience.

As the leader of Stray Kids, he has built a global following far beyond K-pop, and his appearance gives the Breitling activation another kind of international appeal.

The two appearances also say something about how broadly Breitling is positioning the partnership. Formula One may be at the centre of the Raffles City activation, but the people connected to the brand extend well beyond the racetrack.

The Breitling x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Pop-Up continues until 12 October, open daily from 10am to 10pm at Raffles City Shopping Centre, #01-35, 252 North Bridge Road.

Fernando Alonso: 7 October, 5pm–7pm
Bang Chan: 10 October, 11am

For anyone heading to Raffles City this week, those are probably two dates worth remembering.
